and this list goes on and on...
So when fresh pineapples go on sale for $1.00 each I purchase boxes of them, literally. My two favorite ways to preserve pineapple is canned and pineapple pie. There is no comparison between home canned pineapple and commercial canned pineapple. Once you taste home canned pineapple, you will never ever want to eat that inferior commercial canned stuff again.
These 48 pineapples will become canned pineapple, pineapple pie, pineapple pickles, pineapple sauce, and pineapple syrup. I am so happy to know that my food storage will be full of all this pineapple goodness.
